which can be easily accessed from Casa Pinheiro.

continuity between the pool and the sea beyond.

Pedras del Rei:
Leisure complex a couple of miles along the coast from Casa Pinheiro
with a Thomas-the-tank-engine train to a very good bathing
beach.

The best of the golf courses so far in the Tavira area.
Restaurants:
There are dozens of good simple local restaurants in Tavira and Santa
Luzia as well as some more international ones.
Our favourite local restaurant is within walking distance of Casa
Pinheiro and serves fish straight out of the sea.
Santa Luzia:
Pretty fishing village a couple of miles along the coast from Casa
Pinheiro with lots of good restaurants.
Seville:
Beautiful Andalucian Spanish city leas than an
hour and a half from Casa
Pinheiro.
Sotavento:
the local name for the eastern Algarve.
Tavira:
Beautiful local fishing port in the Eastern Algarve with an excellent
market.
Tuna fishing:
The tuna fishing industry used to support many of the fishing villages
of the eastern Algarve.
Under-floor
heating:
Casa
Pinheiro has under-floor heating using an eco-friendly heat pump which
can be switched from the villa to heat the swimming pool in spring and
autumn.
Vale
de Lobo / Quinta do Lago:
There are several golf courses in the Vale de Lobo area, about 45 minutes to the west of Casa Pinheiro.
Generally very good, but can be crowded and expensive.
